IHOP Wilkes-Barrre at 770 Kidder Street, Wilkes-Barre, Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.

The building itself is nothing but amazing. The cleanliness of perfect. The food decent. The only thing I had an issue with is the fact that the employees have no clue what’s on the menu and kept coming back to my table about 3 times asking if I wanted eggs, cheese, etc. I’ve been to better IHOP’s but the line was Insane because it’s out first I hop in a long time. It’s good to try out but not go every weekend.

The worst IHOP I’ve ever been to.
I understand it’s a new restaurant, but my visit here was extremely disappointing.
When ordering our drinks, I asked for a diet without lemon. My Mom got a diet with lemon. She got her lemon, but I was also served a diet soda with a lemon seed and lemon shavings in it.
Next, the pancakes.
I honestly could have made better pancakes at home for half the price.
My Mom ordered double blueberry pancakes. I ordered simple regular blueberry pancakes and I specifically asked for nothing on top.
When the pancakes were brought out, there was whipped cream on mine. I couldn’t even scrape it off because it had begun to melt. If I wanted whipped cream, I would have gone to an ice cream shop.
My Mom’s pancakes barely had any blueberry compote on them at all. It was pitiful! Most IHOPs have it drizzling down the sides, and put enough on. Not this IHOP.
The waitress didn’t even ask if we wanted more to drink. She just tried hurrying us along, even though I had more than half of my pancakes left on my plate. I understand things are busy, but don’t try rushing us out the door. That’s just poor manners.
Then came the bill. It said that we got two orders of double blueberry pancakes. We did not.
I just got regular blueberry pancakes. Not double.
And for over $7 for double blueberry pancakes that barely have any blueberry at all.... it’s highway robbery.
I will NEVER give this IHOP my business ever again.
And let’s just say, the poor service reflected in the waitress’s tip.
You want to charge me more money for something I didn’t order? Then you get less than a 5% tip (:
